Welcome!

This site will provide you with all of the information you need to start working with content from several of the famous Bauer brands, including FHM and Empire. The content service aggregates articles and news from all of the participating sites, and offers a simple API and common interface for surfacing relevant content to your application.

Examples of how this could be used include...

• Surfacing Empire movie reviews on your blog that are related to the post you're currently viewing
• Building an iPhone application to display current movie recommendations from Empire
• Integrating Grazia fashion tips into your online accessory store

We will be using this service internally to cross-link relevant content from brand to brand. An example would be that you're reading a movie review on Empire and can see a link to the FHM photo shoot of the main actress.

Have a browse around the documentation to get a feel for what resources you can access programatically, then request an API key to get going.

The API is based on REST, so you can make simple HTTP GET requests for the different resources, then get back the resource representation as XML, JSON, RSS or ATOM. If you would like an easier way to interact with the API from your platform, check out the Libraries section to see if there is a library targetted at your platform.
